It was 1930 when a group of simple artisans began gathering in the courtyards and small workshops of Turin. Here they carded wools and horsehair and made mattresses with the utmost care and artisan mastery, then displayed and sold their creations at fairs. Over the years their passion, talent and craft skill joined the most advanced technologies, the most evolved production methods and stylistic research: from those Turin workshops, Altrenotti has reached the most exclusive, elegant and refined homes and hotels in the world.
